On a rock-solid foundation
Hosted on a dedicated network of geographically isolated data centers and with a 99.9% up-time guarantee, the streamB platform is a robust, scalable and future-proof home for your audio streaming.
Our network is configured with fully independent origin and edge clusters, multiple redundancy failover protection, points of presence (Entry Points) in NA, Europe and Asia, each audio stream is connected to both our primary and backup entry points, ensuring failover protection of all streams delivered through our network.
streamB stations are built and managed in the Hive, our online portal. Each station comes with 1 stream, in your choice of bit rate and codec, stream monitoring, a choice of simple popup or footer player with player manager, radio centric analytics, and geo blocking.
For broadcasters with deeper requirements, there is a growing list of add-ons ready to launch at your command, including dynamic, server side ad insertion, automated black out programming options, performance reporting, SMS/email alerting, and more.
Monitoring and Alerts
Ensure your stations are always live and delivering with streamB monitoring and alerting.
Every stream is monitored for connectivity to our Entry Point servers on a minute-by-minute basis.
Off-line alerts are displayed in-dashboard after 6 consecutive minutes of outage. Click listen to hear audio or open the visualizer.
SMS / EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Set up offline text and/or email notifications to a custom distribution list, and receive alerts if outages occur and again when they are cleared.
Mute notifications when working on your streams to suspend alerting during maintenance periods.
The first priority of a streaming audio player is to play wherever and whenever your listeners want, so we try to keep it simple, and stick to the features we know make a difference.
NOW PLAYING / PLAYLIST HISTORY
With 50% of listeners learning about new music from radio, the artist name and song title is not only a legal requirement but an important way for artists to build a following. If your playout system can send metadata, the players will display current and recently played selections, with album art as available.
DISPLAY AD ZONES
IAB standard ad units trigger as dynamic companion ads when Dynamic Ads are active, or as sponsorship placements at any time. Coming soon: DFP Integration for video per roll
DEPLOY IN MINUTES
Choose your colors, upload your logo and other artwork, and generate embed code for your site. That’s it.
END USER DIAGNOSTICS
The player Help link includes end user diagnostics to aid in user support. Many listening problems reported by end users are local in nature.
Have your own player or want to work with a 3rd party for players? No problem. You don’t have to use our players.

If you’re using our player and sending artist name and song title, performance counts will appear in the dashboard. If you’re not sending artist info you can still use performance reports.
