Performance Reporting
Calculate the number of song plays for your SoundExchange and SOCAN royalty reporting requirements with the click of a button.
Counts each performance of the songs streamed by your station on a daily, weekly or monthly basis.
If you’re using our player and sending artist name and song title, performance counts will appear in the dashboard. If you’re not sending artist info you can still use performance reports. Simply upload your playlist file (if you’re using the manual upload version) and the performance calculator will do the rest.
Song counts are based on the minimum listening length defined by the publisher (1+ second).
Stream Clipper
Capture audio from your livestream and automate the creation of on demand content.

DASHBOARD ALERTS
Off-line alerts are displayed in-dashboard after 6 consecutive minutes of outage. Click listen to hear audio or open the visualizer.
SMS / EMAIL NOTIFICATION
Set up offline text and/or email notifications to a custom distribution list, and receive alerts if outages occur and again when they are cleared.
Mute notifications when working on your streams to suspend alerting during maintenance periods.
Players
The first priority of a streaming audio player is to play wherever and whenever your listeners want, so we try to keep it simple, and stick to the features we know make a difference.
NOW PLAYING / PLAYLIST HISTORY
With 50% of listeners learning about new music from radio, the artist name and song title is not only a legal requirement but an important way for artists to build a following. If your playout system can send metadata, the players will display current and recently played selections, with album art as available.

The player Help link includes end user diagnostics to aid in user support. Many listening problems reported by end users are local in nature.
Have your own player or want to work with a 3rd party for players? No problem. You don’t have to use our players.
Blackout Calendar
Substitute alternate content during those periods where you are blocked from delivering your regular content, like sports programming that is not licensed for online.

streamB comes configured with a high performance encoder for broadcasters seeking an upgrade from their current encoding solution.
CODECS
streamB is licensed to offer the AAC family of audio codecs, delivering some of the most efficient audio coding technologies available today, and MP3 in bit rates from 32 to 320 kbps.
COMPATIBILITY
The streamB software encoder works on Windows, MacOS and Ubuntu operating systems. System notifications will alert as new versions become available.
Download and install directly from the Hive dashboard, and manage your encoder anywhere from within the Hive.
